St. John's Lutheran Church is organized to carry out its mission and ministry in the following manner:
Voters' Assembly is open to all communicant members 18 years of age or older and is the governing body of the congregation.
Applicants for voting membership may request such or be recommended by one who is already a voting member. The applicant shall be given and read the constitution and by-laws of this congregation. At that meeting of the Voters' Assembly, the applicant, if present, shall be voted on, and following an affirmative vote, shall be approved as a voting member who will then sign the constitution.
Business meetings are held in January, May, and September.
Informational meetings (non-voting) are held in March, July, and November.
Budget approval (annually) and election of officers (every odd year) takes place during the May meeting.
Leadership Team consists of the executive officers, the senior staff members, and the chairpersons of each board. It meets monthly to conduct the business of the congregation.
