Senior Ministry Programs - Sept. through July
January 15 at 1 p.m.; Kyle Bagnall from the Chippewa Nature Center will present "Midland History Sampler 1820-1880." Hear stories and discover information gathered from historical books, newspapers, photographs, maps, census data, and school inspector reports in this fascinating exploration of our area's history.
February 19 at 1 p.m.; Learn about the latest technologies being used at MidMichigan Medical Center to treat patients with a wide range of medical probelsm. Megan Yezak will be the presenter.
March 19 at 1 p.m.; Back by popular request, Jim Carpenter (Midland County Preosecutor) will return for another presenation about his department's work. Information from his 2008 annual report will be part of his presentation.
April 16 at 1 p.m.; Learn about the Iditarod, at 1,100 miles long it is the longest sled dog race in the world! Hear the fascinating story from Jim Warren, a retired engineer, who first participated in the race in 2004 at the age of 59.
May 21 at 1 p.m.; Gary Skory, director of the Midland County Historical Society will be guest speaker. Topic to be announced.
