The music program at St. John's serves to praise and glorify our Lord and give expression of our gratitude for His salvation in Jesus Christ, our Lord.
JOYFUL PRAISE SINGERS/INSTRUMENTALISTS - lead contemporary music for Sunday worship services. Practices are scheduled during the week and prior to worship.
SENIOR CHOIR - offers opportunities for all members who are in high school and older to use their voices in song to glorify our Lord. Rehearsals are scheduled from September thru May.
JUNIOR CHOIR - Children from grades 1-4 of our elementary school are invited to participate. Rehearsals are held during the school day.
SCHOOL CHOIR - children from the middle and upper grades of our elementary and junior high school are invited to participate. Rehearsals are held during the school day.
BRASS ENSEMBLE - all brass players are invited to participate in our worship services and special festival services.
HANDBELL CHOIR - St. John's has five octaves of handbells. Any interested adult with music reading abilities who is able to commit to regular rehearsals is encouraged to participate.
CHIMING SENIORS - Interested senior citizens are invited to join Chiming Seniors to ring God's praises for music and fellowship. No requirements are necessary. Contact Sharon Hartlein.
CHILDREN HANDBELL CHOIR - Seventh and eighth grade school children are given an opportunity during the school year to join the Children Handbell Choir. Contact Jessica Strefling.
SCHOOL BAND - Children in grades five through eight who attend our school are given an opportunity during the school year to join the School Band. Contact Jonathon Pickelmann for information.
